Analisis Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Sebelum dan Setelah Merger dan Akuisisi yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis kinerja keuangan perusahaan
sebelum dan setelah merger dan akuisisi pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa
Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan melakukan aktivitas merger dan akuisisi pada tahun
2015.
Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh perusahaan publik yang terdaftar di
Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2013-2017. Sampel ditentukan dengan
teknik Purposive Sampling dan diperoleh 7 perusahaan. Metode dalam penelitian
ini menggunakan metode explanasi, yaitu metode yang menjelaskan perbandingan
rasio keuangan. Metode penelitian ini meliputi Uji Statistik Deskriptif, Uji
Normalitas, Paired Sample T-test dan statistik non parametrik Mann-Withney U .
Hasil pengujian Paired Sample T-test untuk rasio profabilitas yang
diproksikan dengan Return On Asset (ROA) 1 dan 2 tahun sebelum dan setelah
merger dan akuisisi, rasio aktivitas yang diproksikan dengan Total Asset Turn
Over (TATO) 2 tahun sebelum dan setelah merger dan akuisisi, rasio solvabilitas
yang diproksikan dengan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) pada 2 tahun sebelum dan
setelah merger dan akuisisi serta untuk 1 tahun menggunakan statistik non
parametrik Mann-Withney U test memiliki nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) lebih besar
dibandingkan nilai signifikasi yang ditetapkan α=0,05 (>0,05). Hal ini dapat
diartikan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan.

Improving Reading Comprehension Through Reading, Encoding, Annotating, and Pondering (REAP) Strategy at SMK Yayasan Pendidikan Mulia South Jakarta

This classroom action research is aimed to help improve reading comprehension through reading, encoding, annotating, and pondering (REAP) strategy for students in Vocational High School Yayasan Pendidikan Mulia in South Jakarta. This was qualitative research that was conducted in 10th grade-Accounting involving 18 participants. The research was conducted on 18 January 2018 up to 22 February 2018. The researcher used several instruments to collect data such as student’s worksheets, observation, teacher journal, and interview. The reading comprehension test score showed that there was significant improvement for each cycle towards the participants’ reading comprehension. The result revealed that the application of REAP strategy increased participant’s motivation and supported the participants to be active reader. Moreover, it could make the participants as the center of learning and teaching activities to support them being the independent
learners.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Risiko Investasi dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Return Saham pada industri plastik dan kemasan di Indonesia.
Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode eksplanasi, yaitu untuk menjelaskan pengaruh antara variavel bebas yaitu Risiko Investasi dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap variabel terikat yaitu Return Saham dan menjelaskan hubungan antar variabel. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sub sector makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2017. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Terdapat 12 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria sebagai sampel penelitian, sehingga data penelitian berjumlah 60 data. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah telaah dokumen, data yang ditelaah adalah laporan keuangan tahunan (annual report), jurnal penelitian terdahulu dan literatur lain yang berkaitan dengan masalah penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel Risiko Investasi mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Return Saham Variabel Ukuran Perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Return Saham Sedangkan secara simultan Risiko Investasi dan Ukuran Perusahaan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Return Saham. Nilai koefisien determinasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebesar 0,190. Hal ini berarti kemampuan variabel independen dalam menjelaskan variasi variabel dependen adalah sebesar 19,1%, sedangkan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel independen lain di luar model

This thesis aims to find out whether games improve students’ writing ability, to find out whether students perceive the use of games in writing and tofind out the challenges faced by teacher when implementing games in writing class. The researcher was conducting this research in eight meetings. This study is a qualitative study with selected sampling. The instruments for collecting the data were questionnaire, interview, teachers’ diary, and students’ documents. While, data were in the form of questionnaire form, interview transcript, filed note, and students writing. The result of this research show that teaching and learning process by using games is successful. There are three basics findings as follows (1) games can improve students’ writing ability, it concluded that game as media in teaching and learning could improve students writing skill. The process of implementing also gave variations in learning so that the learning would not make the students bore in the class. (2) Students perceive the use of games in writing, students’ perceptions told that applying game is one of good technique to improve students writing ability since it could help on generating idea, organizing, recalling vocabulary and grammar usage. (3) The challenges of implementing games indicate that teachers who have used games for teaching viewed challenges of implementing games effectively and current educational system as less inhibiting factors than those who have not used games for teaching.

There were two objective of the research. First, this research was aimed to explore the use of role play to increasethe students’ speaking skill. The students’ final speaking result was used as indicator the achievement of the research performance. Second aim was to identify the students’ responses byusing of the role play in teaching and learning speaking activities. This qualitative research was conducted in English department in the third semester at STKIP Panca Sakti. The research was conducted on the October 2017 until the January 2018 located in STKIP Panca Sakti. The researcher used several instruments to collect data such as classroom observation, test, and interview. The data collected in this study was analyzed qualitatively by using triangulation. The result of the research showed that the implementation of the role play technique in the English teaching and learning process improved the students’ pre-service teacher speaking skill. They performed their speaking more confidently. Moreover, their motivation and enthusiasm in English learning also had positive impact. The final speaking test generated significant improvement for each cycle for 3.12%. The increase for 0.5 for the average minimum passing requirement was set to prove that the use of role play technique could improve the students’ speaking skills and prove that the intended research using role play was achieved.

Cultural Content in Junior High School English Textbooks This study was aimed at analyzing the cultural content of English textbooks used at Junior High School and it’s implication in teachers’ awareness of the importance of teaching culture as well as their cultural knowledge. This research was conducted by using qualitative design, particularly cultural content analysis is textbooks. Three series of English textbooks used 7th, 8th and 9th grad of junior high schools namely “ When English Rings a Bell” were chosen as the subjects of research. Content analysis was employed by using some checklist. Theories of culture by Adaskou, et al (1990); Cortazzi & Jin (1990); and Yuan (2011) were used to develop the checklist. Additionally, teachers’ questionnaires were chosen as instruments in the collection of data since teachers are the parties involved in using the textbooks. Five English teachers who are currently teaching English for 7th, 8th and 9th grade students at SMPN 1 Babelan became the participants of this study. The analysis of cultural content in English textbook used 7th, 8th and 9th reveals that the cultural component is not addressed adequately; in other words, there is a lack of the target culture in many chapters, and also lack of authenticity concerning the textbook passages and activities which give the students an artificial picture about how the English language is used in different contexts by native speaker. On the basis of the examination of the data collected from the teachers’ questionnaire in SMPN 2 Babelan, it comes to the conclusion that all teachers are aware of the importance of teaching the cultural aspect, that is, they consider it as an important component for teaching English. Yet, majority of them rarely deal with culture in their classes and even most of them face difficulties when explaining issues related to the target culture. The reason is that they do not have in-depth knowledge about the English culture to teach it. This was proved through a small simple test about the English culture which most of the teachers failed to complete.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pengumpulan data secara
langsung, berupa penyebaran kuesioner yang diambil dari suatu sampel.
Pengambilan sampling menggunakan metode random sampling, sampel dalam
penelitian ini adalah pengguna Grab di Sukabumi Selatan Jakarta Barat sebanyak
104 responden. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh
Service Quality dan Elrctronic Word Of Mouth terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan.
Hasil penelitian dengan taraf signifikan 5% menemukan bahwa: (1) Service
Quality berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan, (2) Electronic Word
Of Mouth berpengaruh positif terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan, dan (3) Service
Quality dan Electronic Word Of Mouth secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif
dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan.

The purpose of this research is to observe the startegies used by teachers in teaching reading and students’ perception at Junior high school. This research attempts to adress the following questions: (1) What are teachers’ strategies in teaching reading? (2) What are students’ perceptions of their teacher strategies in teaching reading? (3) Do the teachers’ experiences influence to the teaching strategy? The participants were purposively chosen from SMPN 1 Karangtengah and SMPN 1 Pagelaran. The data were collected by using a classrom observation, interview with teachers and give the questionnaire to the students. They were analyzed qualitatively by using categorized formulated based on theories related to instructional strategies before, during and after
reading activities. The major finding of this research are six tecahers observed have taught using some strategies or stage in making their students reading comprehension. The stage are: Pre- Reading, While Reading and Post-Reading. The finding show that the six teacher need to increase their knowledge and experience in order to understand the concepts, implementation and the reasons in using the strategies in teaching reading comprehension. This study recommend that EFL teachers in indonesia should have self awareness to use these kinds of teaching reading comprehension strategies.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara Pelatihan dan Disiplin Kerja terhadap Kinerja Pegawai.
Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan pengumpulan data berupa penyebaran kuesioner dan diukur menggunakan skala likert. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu, Pelatihan dan Disiplin Kerja sebagai variabel independen dan variabel Kinerja Pegawai sebagai variabel dependen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel jenuh dengan populasi seluruh pegawai perusahaan PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Kramat Jati, yang berjumlah 83 orang. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif, regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik, analisis koefisien korelasi parsial, analisis koefisien korelasi berganda, analisis koefisien determinasi, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil regresi linier berganda yang diperoleh yaitu Ŷ = 7,799 + 0,422 X1+ 0,294 X2. Hasil uji asumsi klasik menunjukkan bahwa residual berdistribusi normal tidak terjadi multikolinieritas, tidak terjadi heteroskedastisitas dan tidak terjadi autokorelasi. Hasil penelitian ini secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara variabel pelatihan terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai dengan nilai thitung > ttabel sebesar 7,342 > 1,990 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Sedangkan, variabel disiplin kerja terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai dengan nilai thitung > ttabel sebesar 4,275 > 1,990 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Secara simultan variabel pelatihan dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kinerja pegawai dengan nilai Fhitung > Ftabel sebesar 99.229 > 3.11 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. http://repository.uhamka.ac.id/id/eprint/16284/1/FEB_MNJ_1502025255_SYIFA%20FAUZIAH.pdf Unduh!
